This building refurbishment project provided the environmental management services client with an appropriate street front presence and maximum office space for the site.

The scope of works on this 1960s building included:

  • Demolition
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Data cabling
  • Air conditioning
  • Floor coverings
  • Cabinet works
  • Ceiling works
  • External façade and general building works

The prime difficulties that were overcome to complete the project on time and within budget included adhering to the strict timetable and resolving many plumbing and wiring complications when merging the old building with the new. The completed building totals 600m² of office space and houses 17 offices, 20 work stations, as well a reception area, administration area, board room, conference room and storage/plant quarantine rooms.
